The news comes one day after neighbouring town, Glen Innes, announced the withdrawal of their men's team from the Group 19 competition.
The Tigers played the last two seasons in Queensland's Border Rivers competition and have made the finals in consecutive years as well as taking out the 2023 league tag title.
Taking to Facebook on Wednesday night, the club told their supporters they could not muster the numbers to take the field this year.
"We understand the disappointment this news may bring to our supporters, sponsors, and the wider rugby league community," they said.
"However, rest assured that this decision was not taken lightly, and we explored all possible avenues to keep the team intact.
"To our dedicated committee and players we commend your commitment and passion for the game.
"Your efforts have not gone unnoticed, and we're grateful for the dedication you've shown to the club.
"We'll continue to work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the future success of the Tigers, and we look forward to seeing our men's and ladies league tag sides back in action as soon as possible."
