The superstar and her supporting act Sabrina Carpenter visited Pellegrino 2000 in Surry Hills, Sydney about 7pm on Tuesday, February 20, before leaving in a getaway car hours later.

Fans crowded the footpath for a glimpse of the record-setting performer and welcomed her Down Under as she made a swift departure.

The video shows Swift walking past a garden bed cordoned off due to the NSW asbestos mulch crisis.

Last week, the NSW environment minister assured fans that initial tests of mulch around Accor Stadium did not detect asbestos, so the Eras Tour concerts will go ahead.

"We are testing samples but, regardless, we can remove the mulch and remediate before Taylor Swift takes to the stage in the Harbour City," Minister Penny Sharpe said.

Speaking to morning radio on Wednesday, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said he will attending the tour on Friday night.

When asked where he will be sitting the he said he had "no idea".
