The Armidale Cup looks set to bring in a big crowd on Sunday.
There will be Fashions In The Field, full bar and catering with eight races including the $60,000 Armidale Cup (Big Dance Qualifier), TAB facilities and bookmakers on site. Armidale trainer Stirling Osland has nominated six-year-old mare Kingstar Bullet in the 1900m feature while Newcastle trainer Kris Lees has multiple runners.
Gates open at 11am with tickets available at the racecourse.
An evening of glorious music as we tell the story of the promise of the Messiah and the birth of Jesus in nine short Bible readings, interspersed with the singing of Christmas carols, hymns and choir anthems.
This is a free event open to everyone however seating is limited, so to ensure a seat inside St Peter's Cathedral please book.
Depending on demand, the event may be live-streamed outside for those who are unable to sit inside.

Bridget Van der Eyk is celebrating the release of her second contemporary romance book '3000 Words' with a book signing event at the Armidale War Memorial Library.
Her novels centre around Hollywood gossip and celebrity models.
Bridget will be signing paperback copies as well as her 2022 debut '10 Dates'.Copies will be available for purchase on the day for $25 (cash and eftpos available), or you are welcome to bring your own copy.
It is a free event and runs between 10.30am to noon.
RENOWNED Aboriginal singer, songwriter and musician Warren H. Williams will lead an evening of "genre-melding" music at NECOM on December 2.
Williams will be accompanied by pianist Julie Croft and the nine-piece classical Western Winds Ensemble for the performance Out Of The Maze.
The performance is named after Williams' exploration through a "maze" of different styles of music, to find a project that truly spoke to him.
The show will be held on December 2, at the New England Conservatorium of Music. Doors open at 6.30pm; show starts at 7.30pm.
There will be a special matinee performance by invitation on December 1 for schoolchildren at the Armidale Secondary College.
