The truck mounted the kerb and careered into the front of the weatherboard house, resulting in extensive structural damage to the property.
Luckily nobody was home at the time of the incident.
The driver was not injured.
Fire and Rescue NSW personnel have deemed the crash site to be a hazmat incident, because the house contained asbestos.
The truck was eventually towed from the scene and the truck and trailers have been issued defect notices by police.
Officers from New England Police District are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or has dash cam footage to contact Armidale Police on (02) 6771 0699 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
