Last week, New England Nomads coach Clarrie Barker alluded to the momentum the side is gaining after two resounding wins in-a-row.

Barker's team only built on that momentum with a thrashing of the Kangaroos on Tamworth turf on Saturday.
Debutant Pat Sharpe starred with 10 goals in the 22.13-145 to 9.6-60 beating while Tom Hunt, marking his 100th game for the club, stood tall.
"He [Sharpe] has moved here for uni, he played footy in Canberra previously so he has been a good pickup up for us," Barker said.
Barker also slotted two goals while the competition's leading goal-scorer Noah Connick also managed a brace, along with Isaac Jessup, and Dave Richards nailed three. Charlie Paine and Tom Moscou also claimed one each.

"It was very much a team effort, we set ourselves a plan going into the game and we executed that to the best we could which was good," Barker said.
"I was really happy with the win.
"It gives us more momentum and more drive to keep winning away games.
"It is big to defend your home turf and to go and beat people at their home ground is a big drive for us and we thrive off it."
Of Hunt's 100th match, Barker said there was plenty of support for the popular player.
"We really rallied behind him and we wanted to get the win for him," he said.
"He had his whole family out there which was really good.
"There was a banner and stuff and he led the way during the day.
"He played really well, as he does every weekend.
"It was a really good day out for him."
The Nomads will be on the road again this Saturday with a clash against the Inverell Saints, two weeks after scoring a win against them in round four.
The Nomads finished the game against Tamworth unscathed and will head into the encounter at full-strength.
Inverell's Varley Oval is one of the bigger grounds in the competition, something the Nomads are used to, and Barker is hoping it will play in their favour.
"Hopefully we can just do exactly what we did when we played them at home," he said.
"It is definitely one of the larger grounds in the comp and we certainly know how to play on a bigger ground so that sort of plays into our hands quite well which is good.
"Just the way we can move the ball on a bigger ground."
