Rumours abound regarding who might be moving in (including a transport company and a film studio), but as negotiations are still underway, the council says it cannot reveal any details about potential sales.
"Council is encouraged by the strong interest in the Armidale Airside Business Park land," said Armidale Regional Council general manager James Roncon.
"One of the first sales is a multi-million dollar, state of the art service centre which is currently in the final planning stages.
"This sale, along with others, has generated further interest in surrounding lots which have high potential to make significant contributions toward employment and economic prosperity in the region."
Mr Roncon said currently, 38 per cent of the area of Stage 1 lots was under contract.
"It is exciting to see this interest and development applications lodged," he said.
"In the interests of maintaining commercial confidentiality, council is not at liberty to discuss particulars of sales until purchases are finalised."

The New England Weeds Authority met in Glen Innes this week, and a priority on the agenda was the agency's new office and depot build at Armidale Airside Park.
Acting general manager Glen Wilcox said it was the major expenditure in the budget for the regional council's draft operation plan, including a $1 million loan to complete the development.
"The big-ticket item is that we are building a new depot and office at the Armidale Airside Business Park, which I think will be the first development in the subdivision too," said Mr Wilcox.
Meanwhile, Armidale Regional Council continues to actively market its premier commercial real estate to raise revenue.
"Council welcomes enquiries from all parties keen to participate in the exciting growth prospects for the region," Mr Roncon said.
The NSW Government announced in 2019 its Growing Local Economies Fund would provide $6 million for Armidale Council to complete a $6.5 million project to install roads, water mains, telecommunications, National Broadband Network and other infrastructure on nearly 90ha of development land, which was released at the airport.
A heated debate was held during the February ordinary Armidale Regional Council meeting over the speed of land sales at the development.
