The last time they played a game of rugby league, the Bundarra Bears claimed a premiership win.
The Bears won the 2019 Group 19 second division men's trophy but they won't be back to defend their title.
On Monday they announced, via Facebook, a lack of numbers has forced them to sit out the coming season.
"Unfortunately due to lack of numbers for our ladies and men's sides we have had to withdraw from the 2021 football season," the club said.
"We would like to thank everyone who registered in support of our little club but we just didn't end up with the numbers to field either of the sides and have very limited support for our volunteer committee and helpers.
"We would especially like to thank our valued sponsors for your ongoing support and hope that we will be back next season even bigger and better."
