The Fun Run, which is normally held from Harris Park, took place at Sport UNE this year in a cross country-style event. The running of the two, five and 10 kilometre events, which had everything from hills and gravel to flat paths, altered slightly due to coronavirus restrictions with a rolling start.
Event organiser Paul Billings said the feedback was good from the 136 entrants.
"Initially, we were going to do with a virtual, as things improved, it was too late to do a full on Fun Run but people just wanted something so we came up with the Armidale, not so virtual, Fun Run," he said.
