A six-month-old baby was airlifted overnight after reportedly suffering from a cardiac arrest near Guyra. On Saturday evening, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was sent to rendezvous with a Guyra Ambulance at Armidale Airport to pick up the young boy. The chopper and Critical Care Medical Team met at the airport to start treating the child before placing the him on life support.
