A man has been refused bail in Tamworth Local Court after being charged with serious domestic violence related offences.

Police will allege he kicked and punched a woman repeatedly in the head, stomach and back in a vicious domestic assault in Glen Innes on Friday night.
Emergency services were called to Grafton Street at about 11.45pm following reports of a dispute between a man and a woman.
Police were told a 33-year-old man physically assaulted a 46-year-old woman.
The woman had to be treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Glen Innes Hospital.
She was later transferred to Armidale Hospital for further treatment and remains in a serious but stable condition, police said.

Officers from New England Police District arrested the man and took him to Glen Innes Police Station.
He was then charged with reckless wounding, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and intimidation.
The man was refused bail in Tamworth court on Saturday, and will appear in Armidale Local Court on Monday.
Police investigations are continuing.
