Armidale continued their winning run in the annual Walter Taylor Shield with a tight victory over Hunter Valley on the second day.

For their third match of the tournament, Armidale were sent in to bat by Hunter Valley and things didn't go as planned initially with skipper James Phelps dismissed for a duck.
Ben Heagney then stepped up and continued his form with the bat, scoring 29 runs.
He was helped by Mitch Duddy with 20 and Ryan Harris with 17 as Armidale finished their 20 overs on 8-77.
Hunter needed 78 for the win and looked strong until a series of run outs sent them packing for 72.
Harris managed 2-7 from 3.3 overs, Heagney 1-15 from four overs, Brodi Campbell 2-10 from three overs and Monty Schmude 2-9 from three overs.
