An Armidale woman has pleaded not guilty to 40 fraud charges and the case will be moved from Armidale and go to trial in a Sydney court.

Strike Force Amaranthus an NSW task force based in Armidale, identified and charged Sandra Henri Edmonds, a 58-year-old-woman who was working as a certified practising conveyancer.

The indictments listed were similar in that they are all alleged to involve fraud; obtain a benefit by defrauding, dishonestly obtain by deception, dishonestly obtain a financial advantage, fabricate a story, sold shares that did not exist, shares not issued, fabricated the value of shares, requested a loan,gave a false and misleading statement,fabricated the sale of a business.
Edmonds was recently denied bail, in an application lodged with the Supreme Court in Sydney.
The prosecution and defence lawyers made a joint application on Friday to have the trial listed before a Sydney court.
A trial date will be set at Sydney District Court on July 12.
