The University of New England’s Lazenby Hall was full of sequins, sparkle and smiles earlier this month when Australian Dance Enterprises held its end-of-year spectacular.
Themed ‘The Greatest Show’ the Australian Dance Enterprises 2018 end-of-year performance involved nine teachers, ten assistant teachers, and 800 costumes for more than 160 students performing 48 routines.
The dance studio operated in both Guyra and Armidale and was started in 1992 by principal Colette Brazier. Ms Brazier thanked everyone who had helped pull the 2018 performance together which involved toddlers through to high-schoolers.
Guest performer, and former Guyra ADE student, Isaac Clark wowed the audience with a solo routine ‘Tempus’. Mr Clark began dancing with ADE when he was six years old and after finishing high school last year has just completed 12 months pre-professional training with the Sydney Dance Company - he is breathtaking to watch.
