POLICE have charged a woman with a range of offences after vehicle search in Armidale uncovered a bevy of drugs in her car.

Highway patrol officers pulled over a Holden Astra on Douglas Street on Friday night.
The police subsequently searched the vehicle the 35-year-old woman was driving and allegedly uncovered drugs and ammunition.

An amount of methamphetamine, numerous ecstasy tablets, an amount of cannabis, cocaine, LSD, speed and some prescribed restricted substances were found in the car.
She was taken to Armidale Police Station and charged with drug possession and supply, possession of a restricted substance and ammunition without holding a licence.
The woman was also driving with a disqualified licence.
She is expected to appear at Armidale Local Court on Monday, February 4.
Inquiries continue and further charges are likely.
Meanwhile, Armidale police were also called to a scene of an accidental shooting on Friday night.
A 20-year-old man was shot in the shoulder while hunting on a property on Rockvale Road, Thalgarrah, near Armidale.
Police have been told the group, including a 47-year-old mand and 15-year-old boy, was hunting when the 20-year-old driver was shot in the back of his right shoulder.
At about 10pm emergency services were called to the property, before the man was taken by NSW Ambulance Paramedics to Armidale Hospital for treatment to non-life-threatening injuries.
He is being airlifted to John Hunter Hospital for specialist referral and monitoring.
Detectives attached to New England Police District established a crime scene at the property and seized the firearm believed to be involved.
