The ADFAS Armidale Lecture will be held at 6pm in the Michael Hoskins Centre, TAS. The theme is Colour and Brilliance: Women stained glass artists of the Arts and Crafts Movement, with lecturer Martin Ellis from NADFAS. Tickets for non-members are $25 per lecture, including supper. REINVENTING POWER
There will be a screening of Reinventing Power with a dinner after the film. Entry and dinner free, donations welcome. This documentary tells the stories of people whose lives were changed by renewable energy. It shows how renewable energy is revitalising communities and revitalising industries across the USA. It will be held at 6pm at Kent House, 141 Faulkner Street, Armidale.

ARMIDALE FAMILY HISTORY SEMINAR
The Armidale Family History Group annual seminar will be held on October 13 from 9am to 4pm Registration 9am-9.45am at Research Centre, Kentucky St. Guest speakers are: Kaye Vernon, Peter Chambers and Arnold Goode. Cost $35 or $60 couple. Bring lunch. Morning and afternoon tea will be provided as part of the seminar.

Quota International of Armidale is hosting a Spring Fashion Parade featuring a spring collection by Black Pepper on Saturday, October 27. The fashion parade starts at 2pm at Oaktree Retirement Village in Martin Street. The cost is $10, which includes afternoon tea and lucky door prizes. Tickets available from Black Pepper in Centro.
