RSL honorary secretary Ken Dickins will speak at this year’s Remembrance Day service, to be held in Central Park tomorrow.
There will be a brief dedication to the new World War I memorial on the eastern side of the fountain, Mr Dickins said. About 60 people are expected to attend the service, where the flag will be raised and lowered.
It is hoped the bells of St Peter’s Anglican Church will be rung during the marking of a minute’s silence at 11am.
