But perhaps the star of the morning was ‘Captain Thunderbolt’ who galloped in on his trusty steed – and joked about stealing the presenters jewellery.
McCrossin’s Mill Museum Director Kent Mayo had a chat to the crew and told them a brief story about the famous bushranger.
“I think they were curious about why we had his statue in the main street,” Mr Mayo told The Express.
“Uralla doesn’t worship Thunderbolt as a criminal but he’s there in the main street because he has this endearing quality and people come from all over to find out why Australians would hold someone like that in high regard.”
