Armidale District Cricket will be getting into the spirit with junior and senior teams putting on the pink gear to raise money to place Breast Care Nurses in communities around the country.
The association will be raffling off a cricket bat signed by Allan Border medalist David Warner which will be drawn at the junior presentation next month.
Tickets will be sold around the grounds this weekend. Merchandise will be brought around to the matches for purchase. The association have run the fundraiser for five years with an estimated $8000 collected in donations over that period. They encourage players, spectators and officials to “pink up” and join in on the fun.
