Jimmy Barnes is on his way to Armidale to head up a new Day on The Green concert at Petersons Winery in March 2017.

It will be the first time a day on the green has presented two concerts in Armidale in the one season.
Promoter Michael Newton said: “We had the opportunity to do this show with Jimmy and knew it would be fantastic for Armidale so it was a no-brainer really.
We’ve gone all out to put together five incredible bands so this is going to be a spectacular day at Petersons.”
Jimmy is no stranger to the a day on the green stage, both as a solo performer and with Cold Chisel, and always loves the experience.
“I’ve played many a day on the green concerts over the years both with my band and with Cold Chisel and we’ve always had an absolute blast,” Jimmy said.
“It’s a fantastic way to enjoy music, sitting back with your friends in a great location. a day on the green’s support of Australian music should be commended because the line-ups are first-class. We all have a great time catching up backstage.
There’s always a good feeling across the whole day which makes it a pleasure to play.”
On stage Jimmy will be tearing through all his classic hits, Working Class Man, Khe Sahn, Flame Trees, I’d Die To Be With You Tonight, No Second Prize, Too Much Ain’t Enough Love and more.
