The start of the warmer months saw plenty of young swimmers make a splash in the new season.
Three Armidale Alligators swam in Moree over the weekend.
Mitch Hayden and Lucy Fenwicke won all of their events and the 50 metre dash for cash to earn $100 each.
Mitch and Lucy are knocking on the door for national qualifying times for the second year in a row.
These times mean they will swim at the Georgina Hope Australian Age swimming champs which will be held in Brisbane next April.
Beth Counsell also competed in Moree and came home with four first places and three second places.
And Isabell Turnbull competed in Coffs Harbour and placed fourth in 50 m freestyle and also took off 11 seconds from her 100 breaststroke!
The Alligators will next compete in Tamworth for the 360 Scully Park long course championships on November 13.
Armidale Alligators club nights are now on a Wednesday night at TAS.
