“Blackbutt” was recently purchased by the current seller. 

At 580 hectares, “Blackbutt’s” current primary focus is cattle and sheep grazing. However, the property will excite anybody who appreciates nature in the context of the Australian Bush.

The vistas are truly breathtaking. With easy access to Uralla and Armidale via good, sealed roads it is worth the short drive to get to.

“Blackbutt” is dominated by a central ridge, the summit of which, whilst rising about 200 metres above the lowest point on the property, is easily reached via well built tracks.

The views along the way and at the top are simply spectacular. To the east is Blue Mountain (towards Walcha), to the north Mount Duval (beyond Armidale), to the west the hills and valleys around Kingstown, while to the south the ranges of Bendemeer are clearly visible.

Pastures are mostly natives, with sub clovers and carrying capacity is estimated in excess of 2000 dry sheep equivalents, while 11 dams provide stock water. A two-stand woolshed is situated next to steel cattle yards, which in turn are located just in from the bitumen road. The property comes with a dwelling entitlement.
