THE first Armidale-to-Brisbane flight is less than a month away and to celebrate, the Armidale Business Chamber is hosting a function at the New England Hotel tonight from 5:30pm.
Fly Corporate’s chief executive Andrew Major will attend a function to thank Council the Armidale business community for their role in bringing the airline to town.
The regional airline will base their aircraft in Armidale with flights leaving at 6:15am daily.
Business Chamber executive officer Tracy Pendergast said the function was a great chance for local business owners to meet the airline and talk about the benefits the service will provide.
“We’ve invited all 230 of our members,” she said.
“And there is a door prize of 2 return flights as well.”
