Three Guyra junior golfers travelled to Uralla on Sunday to take part in the Jack Newton Junior Golf order of merit Competition.
Cooper Brennan took part in the 4-hole event having a final score of 34 and finishing in 4th place. With a little more putting practice he will cut that back at least 10 shots.
Garth Walls took part in the 9-hole event and from what I saw played some fantastic golf, shooting a gross score of 47 to win his second order of merit event in a row.
Taylor Brennan was the only 18-hole golfer to play for Guyra and shot a personal best, with a gross score of 98 and nett of 66 to also win his second event by four shots.
Well done to our Junior golfers. Garth is leading the 9-hole for New England and Taylor is coming second in the 18-hole nett.
