New President Peter Presnell said that they are making a determined effort to get the seniors back playing in Guyra.
“I’m asking the Guyra community to get behind myself and the committee to support the players for the 2015 season,” he said. “We are asking local businesses for help also in getting this back up and running.”
Peter said that the club needs some sponsorship and he would welcome anyone interested to contact him. The first meeting with the new committee will be held on Tuesday 16 December at 7.00pm at the Guyra Bowling Club.
“We are asking for everybody who is interested to come along to this meeting and have an input on how we should get the senior league back up and running in Guyra.
The club is also seeking expressions of interest for a coaching staff, with all positions now open. All potential players, coaches and interested people are asked to come along to the meeting so they can get an idea of numbers and start planning for next year.
If you have any further inquiries or ideas feel free to contact Peter on 0499 089 533 or via their facebook page Guyra Super Spuds.
