The behind the scenes account by author Michael Wolff inside the Donald Trump White House has received plenty of media attention, and Linda Baker at Armidale’s Collins Bookstore said 10 of the 15 copies they received had already sold.
She said their Tamworth store was receiving 25 copies today.

Mr Wolff’s book is highly critical of Donald Trump’s first year as President of the United States and paints a picture of an administration in total disarray.
Roy Wheatley, at Readers Companion in Armidale, said the book had been due to arrive in Australia on Wednesday, but because of demand, they were now unsure when it would be delivered to their store.
“At the moment they’re reprinting a million copies in the US to fill the demand over there, so we’re expecting it sometime in January,” he said.
When it arrives, the store will receive 10 copies, and Mr Wheatley said eight had already been ordered by customers.
“We’ll get more in as demand requires,” he said.
Despite the news coverage over the book, Mr Wheatley said the book has not received as much interest from readers as other new releases, but political books were never as popular as other genres.
“For a political book it is quite popular, but if you go back a little while, the Eddie Obeid book, when that first came out there was a lot more interest in that one,” he said.
That book, He Who Must Be Obeid, by Kate McClymont and Linton Besser, included several references to Armidale.
