Now, he will donate his musical skills to help sufferers of Multiple Sclerosis.
“We will have a big guitar case for loose change and people will be there to swap merchandise in return for donations,” Mr Stanley said.
“I believe the generous people of Armidale could produce $2500 over two and a half hours of fun and music.”
Multiple Sclerosis is a progressive disease that affects the way the brain communicates with the body.
It affects more than 23,000 people in Australia.
Mr Stanley will perform with his trio for an hour and solo for an hour – with favourites from his four albums.
There will also be a performance by the Sing Out Choir.
Pens and CD’s will be on sale, with money from purchases donated to a Multiple Sclerosis charity.
The concert is on Saturday December 9 outside the Armidale Post Office in the Beardy Street Mall from 10:30am to 1pm.
