The last time they met, City romped home to a 78-run win with Karl Triebe claiming 6-6.
The loss spurred Servies into action and they haven’t lost a game since.
Captain John Elliot believes his side will enter this weekend far more prepared than in the opening round encounter.
“It should be a top-quality game,” he said.
“We are not too worried about what they're doing, we are just worried about our preparation for the game.
“We had the week off, a few fellas went down to seconds to see if they could perform with the stick and now we have trained hard and are ready to go.
“Round one is always hit and miss, you never know what you are going to get. Now we know where we are at and know where we need to be, know each other's game and know what we can bring to the table as a team.
City have plenty of confidence in their camp with no losses yet and their latest victory against the reigning premiers, Hillgrove.
Despite City having the wood on their Servies this season, captain Kyle Taylor said they won’t be heading into the match with any complacency.
It should be a top-quality game.

“They're a team we are not going to underestimate. If you go out there and underestimate Servies with the line-up they've got that's when you'll get hurt,” he said.
“We are going to treat it as a Hillgrove or Easts game and give the boys a lot of respect.”
A strong batting partnership between Taylor and Michael Allen set the tone for their win against Hillgrove.
Taylor hopes the form will continue and the bowling steps up a notch.
“Our batting is pretty good, everyone is contributing at the moment, just with our bowling there are a few areas we could tighten up in our bowling,” he said.
“I think our bowling will be strong again this weekend hopefully.”
City have been the surprise packets of the first grade competition this season after finishing last in 2016-17.
Many tipped them to struggle again this season but Taylor has confidence his team can continue their form and is happy to wear the underdog tag.
“I think a lot of people underestimated City this year, they thought there was just going to be myself with the bat and Karl with the ball,” he said.
“We got a lot of blokes back: Michael Allen is back, Andrew Skinner is back full-time, Dylan Yeomans is back, they have underestimated those three blokes and it has really come back to bite them.”
