Thousands of new services will be added to public transport timetables from late November, the NSW government has confirmed.

From November 26, new ferry services, extra weekly train services and thousands of new bus services will start running to reduce journey times for commuters.
Minister for Transport and Infrastructure Andrew Constance launched a campaign to raise awareness about the changes on Sunday and said it would help customers prepare for the changes and plan their new commutes ahead of time.
"We are going to make sure everyone knows these timetable changes are coming so from today, customers can expect to see an extensive advertising with plenty of information and announcements at stations, ferry wharves and on buses across the public transport network," Mr Constance said.
The changes include:
- More than 1500 new weekly train services across the network, including 750 at weekends;
- Almost 7000 new weekly bus services on routes servicing the northern beaches, eastern suburbs, inner west, lower north shore and northern suburbs, Macarthur and the hills districts;
- More than 2000 B-Line services for the northern beaches;
- More than 140 extra weekly ferry services including a new cross-harbour ferry route between the east, the lower north shore, the inner west and the city.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian said that the changes would be an early gift for commuters travelling during the holiday season.
"We are giving thousands of customers an early Christmas present this year with more services and better connections between modes to help them get to where they need to go," Ms Berejiklian said.
"This will mark the biggest ever change to our transport network and means that since we came into government in 2011 we have added 27,000 additional weekly transport services."
The last major overhaul of the Sydney Trains timetable was in 2013 when close to 1000 services a week were added.
The biggest change to bus services will be on Sydney's Northern Beaches with the introduction of the B-Line set to coincide with the other changes across the network.
