Armidale’s Hospital Auxiliary held their last bake sale of the year on Tuesday.

A variety of cakes, jams, craft, books and plants were on offer to help raise money for the Auxiliary which helps provide the hospital with equipment.

“The hospital makes a wishlist and we try and fulfill that list,” Secretary Sue Melville said.

President Robyn Clutterbuck said the group have just purchased a washing machine for rehab patients, worth more than $700, whose stay at hospital can be up to eight weeks.

Other items approved for donation include outdoor furniture in the gazebo, two duel-headed stethoscopes and a Dicom, a macroview otoscope and charger (for ears), bed tables and bedside hutches for peadiatrics and an Afinion Analyser worth almost $6,000 alone.
