The merrymakers visited sick children, bringing along gifts, smiles and a sense of humour.
“We fly down from Planet Starlight to Newcastle and then we drive our van to Armidale Hospital before we jump back on the rocket,” Captain Starlight said.
“When you look at the smiling faces it makes it 100 per cent worth it, that’s what our job is.
“We got the call out from Earth and we flew down here to hang out with these sick kids and make their days – we just want to spread the joy and have some fun.”
Patient Olivia Cooke and her mother Stacey were visited by the captains.
“We were rushed here from Glen Innes last night,” Ms Cooke said.
“It’s really good, we’re lucky to have something like this come to Armidale.”
The captains are headed to Tamworth Hospital on Friday before they board their rocket back to Planet Starlight.
