The local schoolboys batted first and endured a tough opening to the match with both openers falling cheaply.
Nick Farrar held the side together at number three with a hard fought 44 runs.
While numbers fell around him, Farrar held his nerve before Luka Grace came in to add 34 not out.
The side were eventually all out for 138 in 35 overs.
Grace came through with a wicket early in Oakhill’s innings, claiming their opening batsman at 1-8.
Oliver Shannon’s three wickets along with a Kieran Dennis double weren’t enough as the visitors cruised to 5-140 for the victory and the spot in the final.
TAS coach Hugo Johnson said it was a great season for his side with “team unity and team spirit” on display throughout the summer.
"They were just the better team on the day, a bit more experienced than our boys, taking nothing away from my young side,” he said.
"We had a bit of a collapse and Nick was a bit of a rock throughout that collapse and Luka Grace got some runs at the end, 34 not out, to get our total up to 138.”
TAS play in Armidale District Cricket’s second grade competition and are aiming for a finals finish over the next two weeks.
