Almost-smooth-criminal caught in the act
A not-so-smooth criminal was caught at a Girraween petrol station when he attempted to withdraw cash from an ATM with a stolen membership card.

Armidale Local Area Command police were alerted to the crime by the store attended that had seized the card from the 14-year-old boy.
The attendant noted the name on the card, that was of Asian heritage, and believed it did not belong to the offender.
Police will review CCTV footage before further action is taken.
