Northern Tablelands MP Adam Marshall is inviting members of the community to attend the forum in the Town Hall, which will provide the public with a visual presentation of the project’s history, design decisions, inclusions as well as an opportunity to ask questions about the redevelopment.

Community members will also be able to meet and talk with the project leaders and technical experts.

“I urge anyone interested in the redevelopment and the future of health care in Armidale and the region to attend this information session,” Mr Marshall said.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity for people to come along and talk to the experts about the redevelopment, what it will mean for them and the community and ask questions.

“This is a vital project for Armidale and the Northern Tablelands, which is now underway.

“It’s necessary so that the medical needs of our region can be better met locally, without people travelling long distances for specialist care and it strengthens Armidale’s position as a regional centre.

“Since being elected, one of my driving motivations is to bring investment and entrepreneurial energy into Armidale, a regional city with enormous unrealised potential.

“Having a world-class medical centre and teaching capacity here is an important piece of the jigsaw.”
