With more than 300 birds expected, club president Matt McKenzie is preparing himself for the sound of their chirps echoing throughout the building. “It’ll get noisy,” he said.
“We’ll have canaries, finches, budgerigars, parrots and … what we call the miscellaneous.
“That can include love birds, quails and doves.” With exhibitors travelling from across the state, the judges will have their work cut out for them.
The show will be held on Sunday.
