Armidale was the launch site for the Greens campaign "Stop Privatisation Before it Stops TAFE”.
Armidale has been was of the most poorly perfoming campuses since the introduction of the Smart and Skilled. Student enrolment for Armidale has fallen by 75% according to figure supplied by Dr Kayes.
"Quality education and training for New England school leavers, access to opportunities for people of disadvantaged backgrounds and the ability for workers to retrain are being devastated in the name of market economics," Dr Kaye said.
