Put simply, Robb haven’t had time to back and reflect what went wrong in the 26-10 loss.
Instead they have focussed all their energy scheming how to beat a red-hot Barbarians side.
Robb are set down to play Baa Baas in this weekend’s final round of the New England Rugby season and again in the following weekend’s minor semi-final.
The winner of tomorrow’s Robb-Baa Baas fixture at Alcatraz Rugby Park will host the minor semi and Robb coach Sam Ditchfield said his troops will be out to win both.
“Even though Saturday is a bit of a nothing game both teams will be out to win,” he said.
“It’s always good to win, that’s what you play footy for.”
Ditchfield has been full of praise for Baa Baas the majority of the year and knows his side will have its work cut out for them over the next fortnight.
“Baa Baas are on a bit of a roll,” he said.
“They are going really well.
“They are the toughest team we’ve played this year in terms of physicality.”
Ditchfield said shutting down Baa Baas’ big name players will be key to victory for Robb.
“They are heavily reliant on Sam Gates and Keith Ellis,” he said.
“They have a couple of big forwards that run hard.
“But they do rely heavily on Keith getting them in good field position with his boot.
“In saying that we can’t just focus all our attention on two players.”
Robb will finally field a full strength side after a horrid run with injuries in 2015.
“We have had a really tough time with injuries all season,” Ditchfield said.
“Our prop Will Chaffey is back this week, he is the only one who missed the Albies game.
“That gives us everyone back finally.”
The other match of the round sees the Armidale Blues host Glen Innes at Moran Oval.
