Police were called at about 10.30am on Monday after a visitor to the cemetery discovered broken boards strewn across the ground near the chapel.
Inspector Chris McKinnon said police were able to identify the juvenile culprits.
“It was a bunch of young kids," Inspector McKinnon said.
"There was a door that was kicked in which caused it to break and brick thrown at the window.
“They were dealt with under the Young Offenders Act."
Residents are urged to contact the Armidale Police Station on 6771 0699 if they see suspicious behaviour or acts of vandalism in the city.
