Armidale High School captain Claudia Thorne said she and her cohort wanted to bridge the social gap between older and younger students.
To do this she wants to implement more lunchtime activities where the junior students can meet their seniors.
Duval High School captain Eleanor Logan also identified creating a more unified student body as one of her team’s priorities.
Meanwhile the students from all the schools widely agreed they didn’t see a huge difference in public or private education experiences.
“I don’t think there’s any difference really,” The Armidale School vice-captain Nick Feeney said. “We all learn the same stuff, do the same stuff, we’re all part of the community.”
Nick identified continuing the work of his school’s previous leaders in building school spirit as a priority for their leadership team.
O’Connor Catholic College is in the process of electing its next round of leaders.
