A man has stabbed his younger brother in the arm, then slashed his tyres after the siblings started fighting in a car in Sydney's southwest, police say.

The two men were travelling along Stacey Street, Bankstown, about 11.15am on Sunday, when they began arguing.
The 34-year-old passenger produced a knife and stabbed his 31-year-old brother, who was driving, in the upper arm, police said.
Police said the driver pulled over, only for the older brother to get out of the car, slash three of the tyres and run off.
The injured man managed to drive the car to a nearby shopping centre, where he called emergency services. He was treated for a minor stab wound.
Detectives are trying to find the older brother, who was last seen running south along Stacey Street.
