The hospital will share in $50 million of funding for regional health infrastructure, along with Grafton, Macksville, Byron Bay, Manning and Lismore.
Key points in the NSW budget for Armidale:
$1.7 million to reconstruct Waterfall Way to Ebor,
$1 million to reconstruct the New England highway to the north of Armidale
$430,000 for bitumen resurfacing of Waterfall Way
$800,000 to build two five bedroom group homes in Armidale for people living with a disability
$80,000 for maintenance and repairs of Aboriginal housing in Armidale
$767,000 for refurbishing the McCarthy Building.
