The workshop, Kickstart, will run in the Armidale High School science labs and aims to inspire students to study biology.
School of Biological Science communicator Cecily Oakley said the program not only aided in exam preparation but also excited and intrigued students about the natural world.
Kickstart is the university’s premier outreach program and brings experiments and laboratory equipment to the regional areas.
Armidale High science teacher Peter Laffan says the students will benefit from the hands-on experience.
