Fleece to Fashion chairman Lachlan Fulloon of Cressbrook Merinos Armidale said - as with many large events - the organisation had endured the speedbumps of Covid-19 in recent times but had earmarked the first weekend in May for a spectacular return of the flagship wool fashion event.
"Early May is a superb time of year in the New England region - the countryside and livestock typically look a picture, with glorious shades of autumn colours emerging, and we look forward to showing it all off when we host our event at Deeargee Station," Mr Fulloon said.
"We cannot wait to see a few hundred patrons from across the wool supply chain - from fashion designers, producers, agricultural industry professionals and educators - donning their black-tie wares in the paddock with one of Australia's most iconic woolsheds in the backdrop. It will be a sight to see and a night to remember."

Nestled in the rolling hills of the picturesque New England countryside, Deeargee Station is known for producing some of Australia's finest wool. It is home to a unique, octagonally?shaped woolshed built in 1872 to replace an earlier shearing shed that had been destroyed by fire. The woolshed will host the prestigious wool fashion event.
The Deeargee Woolshed is still in use today, although not open to visitors or the general public.
Mr Fulloon acknowledged the generosity and support of the Sutherland family, owner?operators of Deeargee Station.
"Events like ours are only possible with immense community engagement, support, and collaboration and we are honoured and extremely grateful to the Sutherland family for their involvement in the upcoming event.
