TWO DRUG dealers caught up in a large-scale supply ring have had their cases moved away from the Tamworth courts to marry up with co-accused, including the alleged "main offender" in the matter.
John Barry Carruthers and Glen Mervyn Hanrahan did not appear in Tamworth District Court when their matters were mentioned earlier this week.

The two co-accused will front Gosford District Court in December after prosecutors and the defence made a joint application to shift their matters out of Tamworth.
The lawyer for the Crown told the court there were still some co-accused cases before the courts and there was a plan to "marry these all up".
"The main offender is being dealt with by Gosford," he said.
"That's the request Your Honour, that the matters ... both go to Gosford."

He said that meant the co-offenders could be dealt with by the same judge at a similar time.
Carruthers has been on bail to live in Sydney and his conditions were continued by Judge Deborah Payne.
Hanrahan has remained behind bars for almost a year, since his arrest in December 2020, and release was formally refused.
"No change in bail status," Judge Payne said during the mention.
A special squad of police from Strike Force Kunderbung uncovered the operation late last year.
Carruthers and Hanrahan face charges connected to the supply ring, which police claim was moving drugs, particularly ice, from the Central Coast to the Tamworth region.
Police stopped Carruthers in Willow Tree en route to Barraba and Hanrahan was arrested following a house raid in Barraba.
