2. Most important issue: Creating a safe, healthy environment. Good health should be valued. Addressing the 3-year life expectancy gap between Sydney and the New England North West Region should be a priority for all levels of government.

Advocate for: climate action, sustainable development, fair rates and charges, achieving all goals in the community strategic plan & eco-ARC sustainability strategy, attracting state & federal funding to promote the region and build back better after the pandemic (with energy-efficient houses, upgraded insulation & heating, healthy winter air and water-saving initiatives), improved community welfare, transparency, accountability, reinstating hydrotherapy, improved community consultation & online suggestions visible to everyone, planning for people not profits, end to cost-shifting, advisory committees for Guyra and youth issues, allowing Guyra residents a say on the forced amalgamation.
4. Expertise: Substantial council experience and many achievements, e.g. Climate Emergency Declaration, reinstating 'Have-Your-Say' live streaming, scrutinizing financial information, lobbying for easier-to-understand financial reports and fairer depreciation rates, and helping to create an effective, collaborative Council by standing up for the community to tackle the problems that led to the resignation of the former CEO.
