This year's goal is to save 100 lives over the three-month period.
Local real estate agents jumped at the chance to give back to the local community, especially after the heartache of the last 18 months.

The key to reaching the goal is donating plasma every two weeks. The need for plasma has never been greater with more than 12,000 patients relying on plasma medicines and transfusions every month across Australia.
For one of the agents, Brett Field from Uphill & Schaefer, donating blood is something he is very familiar with.
He started donating at the age of 16 when he was made the Red Cross Youth Ambassador in 2012, and this latest donation is the 29th for the frequent blood donor.
"I'm very proud of my team and other agencies getting involved in such a rewarding cause to support our community," Brett said.
It might be in its first year, but the Armidale Real Estate Agents Blood Drive has already attracted teams from six local agencies.
Professionals Real Estate, Laing & Simmons Armidale, First National Real Estate Armidale, Ray White Armidale, Uphill & Schaefer and Armidale Town & Country have all joined the blood drive.
The participating agencies are part of Lifeblood Teams, an initiative which unites teams across Australia to give life by giving blood and plasma.
Ruth Harrison from Australian Red Cross Lifeblood said Australia was experiencing a significant increase in demand for plasma and plasma products.
"We owe an enormous thank you to all Lifeblood Teams participating in the blood drive. Each year they are donating more and each year new donors come on board which is so important.
"Already, Uphill & Schaefer are identifying new donors for their team," Ruth said.
And it's not too late for additional teams to come on board.
The blood drive started at the beginning of October and will continue for three months until the end of the year.
"We welcome any agencies in the local region who are keen to join our life-giving campaign. It's not too late to sign up," Ruth said.
