In the past, the Charitable Foundation has funded several programs in New England.
In this round it has $800,000 on offer to support community-based organisations across regional NSW that require funding for a new or existing project that aims to address disadvantage or empower new opportunities for marginalised or isolated people.

In previous funding rounds, $50,000 went to Batyr Australia Limited to expand 'Being Herd Pathways' which enable at-risk youth to create connections with their peers while collaborating with employment and training providers.
A further $47,500 was donated to Cancer Council NSW, and some of that funding enabled the Armidale Hospital's oncology unit to fit out a room with eight silicon cooling caps to treat 15 to 20 patients a week requiring life-saving cancer treatment.
Another $25,000 grant went to Little Wings Limited to fly five specialist doctors from John Hunter Hospital to communities throughout the New England region, providing seriously ill children with access to lifesaving treatment.
Charitable Foundation Executive Officer, Graham Batten, said the last year had been especially tough for charities and not-for-profit organisations.
"In the context of continuous restrictions and lockdowns, local charities and not-for-profit organisations have found carrying out their normal work more difficult and complex, and in some cases impossible," Mr Batten said.
"All at a time when they are needed more than ever, with the growing impact of COVID-19 being felt across Australia, and the world.
"While COVID-19 is a global problem, we're looking local. We believe we can make a real difference by supporting grass-roots organisations, embedded in their local communities across regional NSW.
"That's why we want to hear from charities and not-for-profit groups in the New England region.
"Together we can help to rewrite the future, for the better," he said.
Applying for a Charitable Foundation funding grant can be completed via an application portal on its website.
"We know there's a lot of worthy programs looking for support, many of which are under considerable pressure right now, so we're making it as easy as possible for organisations to apply," Mr Batten said.
"In addition to a range of tools to guide them through the application process, our website includes information on virtual grant-seeker workshops which we will hold in coming weeks."
- Applications via the Charitable Foundation website close at 11.59pm on Friday, October 22.
