Speaking in parliament for the first time as deputy premier last week, Mr Toole praised the work of former premier Gladys Berejiklian and former deputy John Barilaro in leading NSW through the COVID-19 pandemic and congratulated his own constituents on passing the 90 per cent mark for first-dose vaccinations.
And he said he was looking forward to joining Mr Perrottet on a road trip through regional NSW - complete with a 1980s rock soundtrack - once residents from Greater Sydney are again allowed to travel beyond the Blue Mountains.
"I know the premier is very keen to pack his bags, he has already told me that he wants to do a regional trip with me to see the regions," Mr Toole told parliament.
"He wants to see the investment that this government has put out into the regions. I want to talk to regional communities to see what needs to be done. We know there is a big job to be done.
"It is great to have a premier who will enable the Liberals and The Nationals to deliver for all people in NSW. That is our commitment.
"I have already started to put a playlist together.
"I hope he does not mind Bon Jovi because that will be some of the music we will listen to on our trip."

Mr Toole also commended the work done in the most remote areas of NSW to rapidly boost vaccination rates among vulnerable communities.
"Hubs and outreach clinics have been established in regional and rural NSW," he said.
"We got pop-up clinics, walk-up clinics and drive-through clinics.
"We saw members of the Australian Defence Force on the ground working tirelessly in some of our communities.
"... I thank everyone for being involved, especially those in the Far West for achieving these important milestones."
