The lockdown will run until at least September 10 and if it is lifted then and sport is allowed, baseballers will hit the diamond the following day.
The final regular rounds have been scrapped with teams to play semi-finals on September 11 before the grand finals are staged on September 18.
"It all hinges on whether we can come out or not," president Dave McMurray said.
He added: "We're hoping for the sake of the members, the players and our juniors that we can go back and play the last two games."
An extension of the regional lockdown wouldn't necessarily mean the end of baseball this year, though.
McMurray said the board has another potential option but it needed to be discussed further and ironed out before being announced.
The 2021 season has been a funny one for the baseballers with a large number of washed out games this year but McMurray was thankful for the games they were able to play.
"We were lucky we were able to get our June carnival in - which was a blessing - we were at least able to get some people here and enjoy the game of baseball," he said.
Along with the seniors, the association is also hoping to get the juniors back on the field for the last couple of rounds.
