Group 19's finals makeup has been decided with regional lockdowns hampering the final round matches to due to be played.
Some clubs were set to play three rounds while others two but the Group's committee opted to end the season with draws in place.
This means the Moree Boomerangs are the minor premiers for the men's competition while the Inverell Hawks sit at the top of the table in league tag.
Following the Boomerangs is Inverell, Glen Innes and Narwan.
In the league tag, Armidale Rams are in second followed by Moree and Glen Innes.
While the league tag makeup was clear cut, the men's was slightly more controversial with the teams who missed out still mathematical chances of making the top four if the remaining fixtures had played out.
The Express contacted representatives from those clubs but they declined to comment.
The finals series fixtures have been set, pending further lockdowns, with Moree to host the first on September 18.
It will see first-placed Inverell play fourth-placed Glen Innes in the league tag at 12.30pm with Moree and Narwan facing off in the men's semi-final.
On Sunday, September 19 at Inverell, the Rams will play the Boomerangs in league tag at 12pm before the first ladies 9s tackle semi-final gets underway between Armidale and Narwan.
Then the Hawks play the Magpies in the men's.
The winners of all semi-finals will go through to the grand final on September 25 at a venue to be confirmed.
