It will be interesting how the long-wet weather induced break will have on teams and their cohesion. Hopefully all will be enthused, kept up their fitness and kicked a lot of footballs. If not remember to spend time to stretch and warmup and strive to make enjoyment to primary goal. Unfortunately Council managed venues are currently closed and with some rain predicted in the coming days to game is at risk of being cancelled again.

East Armidale play Armidale City Westside at Doody Park
The Suburbs seem to be able to contain the Armidale City Westside ladies, with two draws in their previous encounters. The auto pick has this one as three goals to one win to the Armidale City Westside team. With several of the Armidale City Westside team gaining experience, game time and training under the wing of Kate Eldering at the SportUNE Academy, I'll predict a four goal to one win.
North Armidale play Demon Knights at Phil Wheaton Oval
North Armidale with all troops on board should be too strong with their proven solid defensive players for Demon Knights. I agree with the auto pick prediction of a six goal to two win to the North Armidale team.
South Armidale has the BYE.
Open Division 1
Nothing separates the teams in this competition with four teams on twenty-one points and the fifth on eighteen. This week's round fourteen auto pick predictions have very close high scoring games. Hopefully true for player and spectator alike. Teams played each other in round seven and since then have only played three games due to the weather restrictions making it challenging for the clubs and individuals to map out strategies to dominate in their respective games.
Inverell plays TAS at Inverell
Their close one all draw in round seven is reflected in the auto pick's nil all draw outcome. Sitting on the fence also but hopefully both teams can score to keep the crowd on the edge of their seats.
North Armidale play Armidale City Westside at Phil Wheaton Oval
Wow, the auto pick has this as a very high scoring four all draw. On several weeks ago form, I would take Armidale City Westside by two goals. A long time since their one all draw in round seven and too big a break due to the weather to be certain of both teams' progress.
Demon Knights v South Armidale at Rologas
Another high scoring seven goal hoist predicted by the auto pick and going to South Armidale by a goal. The score in their round seven contest flattered South Armidale somewhat and I am not expecting a similar outcome and will go with the auto pick result of a goal win to the Scorpions with only a three goal hoist.
East Armidale has the BYE
Open Division 2
As stated, the last two weeks a lot of movement can happen below competition leaders Guyra with only seven points separating second to seventh positions. The auto pick has the home teams winning this week.
Inverell plays Guyra at Inverell
At home and after their good result against East Armidale Inverell should be confident that they can pull back some ground on their round seven loss to Guyra. Still predicting a good win to Guyra but at home Inverell can put enough pressure on Guyra to only lose by three goals. The auto pick tags this as a repeat of their round seven result, six goals to nil to Guyra.
North Armidale play Armidale City Westside at Phil Wheaton Oval
The auto pick sees this as close two goals to one win to the Redmen. An important game for both teams to not slip too far behind the top four teams. Three goals to one to the Redmen in round seven. Before the break both teams were struggling to get on top of their game with scoring goals a challenge for the Redmen while Armidale City Westside having a loss and draw and a BYE.
Demon Knights v South Armidale at Rologas
Demon Knights outplayed the Scorpions in round seven in their five goals to two win. Since then, the Scorpions have not lost a game and Demon Knights have had mixed results. On three weeks ago form my prediction would be a two-goal win to the Scorpions. The auto pick has them winning by three goals to two in an exciting crowd pleaser.
East Armidale has the BYE
Open Division 3
Guyra are leading the competition and are six points ahead, then three points separate second to fourth placed teams making this an exciting run home for all teams.
Armidale City Westside FC White play Glen Innes at Harris Park
In round seven Glen Innes had a seven-goal field day and have been undefeated since then. While the Whites, due to circumstances have only had a big loss since then. The auto pick has this as a five goal to one win to Glen Innes.
Guyra play Armidale City Westside FC Blue at Guyra
These teams have played in two close games this season. This trend should continue, and I will go for the same result as their last game a single goal win to Guyra. The auto pick has Guyra winning by four goals to two.
East Armidale play South Armidale at Doody Park
Third playing sixth sees the auto pick favour the Suburbs by four goals to one. Round seven was a seven goal to four win to the Suburbs. Not knowing the changes in teams all I can say is a win to the Suburbs by three goals, maybe.
TAS has the BYE
TAS should win this one and stay in their position on the ladder. Ha Ha!
Over 35's
Norths, Souths and Guyra standout now in this competition, with the other three teams far enough behind to suggest they are vying for fourth spot. This week's draw has the top three teams playing the lower placed teams.
Demon Knights play North Redmen at Rologas
The Redmen won their last encounter and are seen as winning by five goals to nil win via the auto pick prediction. Demon Knights have been unable to plug their defensive gaps leaking too many The trend is there for a big win to the Redmen.
East Armidale play Armidale City Westside at Doody Park
This match sees fourth and fifth with the auto pick predicting a two all draw. Only one game played since they played each other does not reflect any trend. Armidale City Westside being favourites to win by two gaols for me based on their round five big win against the Suburbs.
Guyra play South Armidale at Guyra
Match of the round sees the auto pick select the Scorpions to win by four goals to three. At home and in the cold winter snowy conditions Guyra will disagree. Second versus third and on paper more important for Guyra if they want to overtake the Scorpions and challenge the competition leaders North Armidale on the ladder.
